We invite you to come visit and discover the uniqueness of our small historic community that replicates the flavor of rural Newfoundland Labrador. Petty Harbour Maddox Cove is one of the first fishing villages in Newfoundland Labrador, with its rich fishing history dating back to the sixteen hundreds. Come walk the harbour and streets, have a chat with our residents and fisher people as they are our greatest resources and a wealth of knowledge and information.

Come Home Year 2007 was a tremendous success and the Town Council would like to thank the organizers for their dedication in making Petty Harbour Maddox Cove the Tourist destination for 2007. The Tidy Towns Committee took on a life of it’s own in 2007. The Town of Petty Harbour Maddox Cove was awarded the ‘2007 Tidy Towns Winner’ for outstanding performance and contribution to Tidy Towns Newfoundland and Labrador for population category 801-1200 during the Municipal Newfoundland Labrador Annual Convention. This award displays proudly the hard work and dedication of the Tidy Towns Committee and what can be accomplished with tremendous support from our residents. Congratulations for a job well done.

Come visit the Bidgood Property that is been developed as the hub to our Tourism Development, Modern Fishing Village Plan. The Petty Harbour Development Corporation just before Christmas finished another phase that brings the Town closer to its Tourism Strategy. Financial contribution through Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) and Industry Trade and Rural Development made this possible.
