Q1. How do I get a town building permit?
Drop by the town hall to pick up an application.  Once completed, submit for approval. 

 

Q2. What are the Town Office Hours?
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

We recommend you call 368-3959 ahead of time to ensure someone will be here as we have limited staff.

 

Q3. When are my taxes due?
Invoices are sent out in January and May each year.  As a taxpayer you have the options for paying below: 

1. you can pay you bill in full by March 31;
2. you can pay half your bill by March 31 and pay the second half by  August 31;  or 
3. you can make payment arrangements through the Town Office.

 

Q4. What can I put out in bulk garbage?
It is easier to tell you what you can't put out in bulk garbage. Council will not pick up wood or other materials from torn down structures, tires, propane tanks, old paint, or other hazardous materials. If you are throwing out broken glass please ensure it is put in a box or something similar to ensure the safety of our staff.

 

Q5. Who do I contact to book the Rec Centre?
You must contact the recreation commission regarding all bookings of the Rec Centre.
