War Memorial Commitee

In August 1998 Lieutenant Governor Maxwell House, with the Royal Newfoundland Regiment Band in attendance, unveiled the Petty Harbour Maddox Cove War Memorial.

It has become a yearly tradition for our community to hold a wreath-laying ceremony on November 11 and the event gets bigger each year. This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the War Memorial. We would like to make this a special event. Anyone interested in joining the War Memorial Committee or sharing ideas to mark the 10th Anniversary please contact Ron Doyle, the Town Office, or e-mail [email protected]
